The Characteristics of Good Teacher

Salam and hello to all cute heart outside there:)..Another work to share with you..The characteristics of good teacher from my view..

Teacher is the closest person to us besides our family and friends. Teacher play a big roles in student life’s. Without teacher there is no prime minister, doctor, architect and others. Teaching is not an easy jobs. It required a lot of patience, enthusiasm, and a desire to make changes for better to the students. Teacher’s responsibilities do not only limited to deliver knowledge to student but beyond of that. It’s also teacher responsibilities to educate student by inculcate moral values to themselves.

What is the characteristics to become a good teacher? Firstly, they must be good in their subject’s content. They must master in their subject and able to deliver their knowledge well to the students. For example, when one of the student ask the teacher question that they did not know, teacher must be able to answer it and gives a good explanation to them. Teacher also must be enthusiastic to gain new knowledge in their field. They can persuade their study to the higher level.

Next, good teachers must have good communication skills. Communication is the most important things in deliver knowledge to student. Student are more convenient to receive the knowledge when their teacher have a good communication skills. Good communication means teacher must be able to speak clearly, have a loud and clear voice, good in choosing words in speaking and many more. Teacher with lack of communication will face a lot of problems with their student and it will probably effect the performance of student in school.

Teacher with a good body language as well as attractive looks will attract students the most. Teacher who display a good body language will communicate with their student by making a eye contact with their student while teaching. This gesture will cause the student feel appreciates and this will encourage them to study hard. Teacher who have an attractive appearance for example neat looks will cause students to be more comfortable thus feel easy and enjoy while learning with that particular teacher.

As a conclusion, good characteristics of teacher can be inherited by each teacher as long as they are willing to upgrade their self to the upper level. Good teacher can produce student with high performance in both academic and co curricular activity. Those people will help our country to further develop. Nowadays, jobs of teacher become more significant. Thus, we must appreciate all the sacrifice made by our teacher.

My School Based Experience (SBE)

Salam and hello to everyone!! Now, I'm back from a long silence again I guess..;)

We again went to SBE (School Based Experience) for the third time just like the semester before. This semester I together with my friend Khairul Bariah Kassim,  choose to went to SK Lubok Redan. Actually I feel a little bit lazy going for the SBE this times as I have to cut off my holiday at my hometown and went back earlier to Melaka. I stay at my friend house located at Kuala Sungai Baru. My friend’s family was very nice and I feel like part of them. It’s  comfort my heart.

The things I can’t forget being SBE at SK Lubok Redan is the friendly teachers at that school. Actually I don’t really have many story to share but they are teacher with a lot of stories. I like to hear their stories. They often like to share with us about their student, sometimes about their family and advice as a senior teacher too. Now, I always miss the moment we sit together. I believe that we can’t always work continuously but we also must spend time with our colleagues  and mix around with people.

During this SBE, we have been given a task. It is from Anatomy and Physiology subject. The task is we have to record P&P Pendidikan Jasmani at that school. We have to been at the field and record the lesson by Pendidikan Jasmani teacher during P&P Pendidikan Jasmani. By carrying that task I been able to observe that class and I learn how to control class during Pendidikan Jasmani lesson. Besides, I also able to get into real life Pendidikan Jasmani teacher. Actually teaching Pendidikan Jasmani is not an easy job as I thought. It’s quite challenge.

This school really something. It’s just a small school but it has it’s own strength. I really happy to be part of this school. I really hope I can be back here for my practicum and meet them again. Plus, I also hope the precious knowledge and experiences gained here will be practice when I’ll be a teacher soon. 

I don't want to be  a teacher only but a murabbi as well..InsyaALLAH

Home Sweet Home

Salam and hello to all cute heart outside there. Sorry for the long silence..long I guess..I was struggling to finish my coursework.. Alhamdulillah, we manage to finish our courseworks..thanks to my lovely group work, Radiah and Amirah..However we still have another 2 coursework to do..sigh~

We are on holiday for 1 week..Although it's just a short period but it's really meaningful to me..

Now, I'm at hometown..at Kuantan, Pahang. It has been a month I did not going back to my hometown..I really miss my home..especially my family..my rabbit..my home..my room..

Now, it was raining and dark..I really like weather here because it was cold and peaceful. It was raining since yesterday. Rain was a gift from our God..it's bring a lot of benefit to HIS creature.. In Melaka, place where I am study it's only seldom raining. Most of the time it was a hot and sunny day. However, it's also a gift from our God..thanks Allah..:)

To those who are on holiday too, I wish happy holiday and enjoy yourself.. "KITA ENJOY"..huhu..

To those who are on holiday..I hope we can spend our holiday with useful activities..and to all my classmates don't forget to go to school next week..it's SBE  (School Based Experience) time...We will be a teacher for a week..Hope we can get a lot of useful knowledge and experiences there..

To students at SK Lubok Redan,  Teacher Amalina will be coming to your school!!hehe, InsyaALLAH...I really can't wait for this moment..:)

Small Talk

Salam and hello to everyone...

I don't have much things to talk about just want to share my feeling tonight. Don't know why I'm here but I just want to expressed my feeling here.

It's already 11.36 p.m but I have already been sleepy. Maybe because of the raining conditions makes me want to close the laptop and just sleep. But that's the problem with me I can't sleep well if I don't do any work. I will feel guilty. I must do something even the small work. It's really a big problem right??!

Today, at the morning I went to Baitul Quro'. I feel very thankful I have been choose by Allah to be there. Me, Amirah, Jamilah, Hanim, Siti and other trainee teacher have been there to listen to a religious talk. Thanks to God, I get a lot of useful knowledge there. Hope it will stick in my mind forever and I can practice it in my real life. We plan to eat ABC (Air Batu Campur) at the MC-Tesco bridge. Unfortunately we have been told that the road there have been closed to give way for Le Tour De Langkawi 2012. Maybe next time we can have ABC together.

Thanks to Nurul Amirah for visiting my room at 10.30 pm, if not I probably at dream world right now. I think that's all from me tonight. Good night and have a good sleep..!!

Once Bitten Twice Shy..

Salam and hello to all handsome boys and gorgeous girls outside there..:)

          Today I would like to share my unforgettable experience with you..Hope you like it..:)

          I have a best friends names R (not his real name).We always go to school together as our house located nearer but we live in different block. We went to school by walking as the school is not far away from our house. This event happened when I was in form 5. During that time, I was waiting  R outside of her house. I don't know what she done night before as she wake up late at that morning. Normally, R will be a little bit late but not too late like that time.

         I was waiting outside of his house with full of patient. At the same time, I was also nervous as it already past 7.30 a.m. For your information, each morning my school have assembly and after 7.30 am the gate of school will be closed. On the way to the school, I just be silent, ignore R and I walk really fast. I just want to quickly arrived to the school. Yes, exactly like what I was thinking the gate is already closed. The prefect opened the gate with his sick face and write our name at his small book.

        It's unlucky day. The assembly is still not finished yet. We have been asked by prefect to sit at the side of the assembly site at the front of other student. We are lucky there are several person like us too;).  Can't you imagine all the students and teacher look at us with unpredictable looks. I felt very ashamed. It's my first time to get a lot of attention like that. But, actually it's quite fun you know..hehe

       Deep inside my heart I don't get angry at R. The next time, when R is very late I will just leave her and go to school by my own. I don't want the same things happened again. I am quite a cruel friend right??hehe..

      Thanks to R..She actually give me a new experience;). Something that I can laugh when I remember about it. Like now...hahahaha...

       To R who is still my best friend till now, I will keep all of our memories inside my mind. Hope our friendship will be last forever..

Salam and hello to cute heart outside there?How are you?Hope you are always in best of health..InsyaALLAH. Recently, in class we have learned short story titled 'Kevin' written by Catherine Lim. I would like to share my personal response based on this story..

          Kevin is a smart boy who are always obeys to his mother. His mother want him obtains the best mark in class and Kelvin always work hard to fulfilled his mother's demand. But, deep inside his heart, he feel so fed up with his mother and do not feel happy with his life. He can't undergo normal life like others child who have same age with him. His life is fully arranged by his mother.

         From my view, I can see that her mother was a loving person. Yes, it seem that his mother can't be tolerate but I can see that his mother was a very caring person. For instances, she asked her son to go bed when she see Kevin was sleepy and can't study anymore and then she gives a kiss to her son. Kevin's mother is a long-term thinker.Kevin's mother disallow her son to play football as she scared Kevin might be injured and might be influenced by Boon Kee who she thinks give a bad influenced to his son. Kevin's mother also is a diligent mother as she can see that his son has a potential in swimming and really focusing in entering his son to the swimming competition in Kuala Lumpur.

          However, I'm not really agree with Kevin's mother attitude towards her son. I think Kevin's mother should sometimes granted his son's will as long as it do not give a bad effects to his sons. For example, when Kevin got the first in his class, he begged to be allowed to watch a football match telecast live on television but his mother took him to watch 'Star Wars'. This shows that his mother choose according to her will without pay attention to her son's will. If this situation continuous, I worried  Kevin might rebel and run from his house as he thinks that his mother actually don't love him. We can't predict what child like Kelvin thinks.

         Apart from that, I feel a bit worried about Kevin's future. If her mother always arranging his life he might not be able to decide for his life in future. He will be rely to his mother for his whole life. One day, his mother will leaves him and I am sure that he will face difficulties without his mother and can not live by his own. Probably, in long term he also will be enter 'Tanjung Rambutan' as he can not do anything that he want and always thinking to fulfill his mother demands without thinking about himself. He also will found difficulties in showing affectionate towards other people. People might think Kevin as a guy without feeling as when he was small he was not given a chance to express his feeling.

        I always believe that mother is a person who always want to see you happy and success in every aspect of life. Yes, sometimes she might do mistakes too. But always  loves our mother no matter what she had done to us. Mother is only one in this world. Appreciate them, always care for them and gives a lot of love to them. In conclusion, this short stories is worth to be read and give me a lot of lessons to be practice when I be a mother soon.
